NEW-An Engaging Learning Experience-Bridging Differences Across Generations

Engagement is a dynamically changing performance initiative which is strongly influenced by the changing composition and demographics of the workforce, as well as the expectations of the emerging generations. The essence of engagement is the establishment of a mutual agreement between management and the broad-base workforce to create a workplace where passion, innovation, and exceptional performance prevail. The most important aspect of this agreement are the "rules of engagement"-or more precisely, the principles of operation, dominantly influenced by Millennials (≈50% by 2020) - empowerment, democracy, transparency, collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.

This presentation is an experiential journey of learning by the use of extensive paired, team, and group exercises; a case study; lively, challenging dialogue; a video-based scenario; theatrical, role playing; and personal transformation. The fundamental principles involved in the case study include, empowerment, responsibility, accountability, commitment, and resolving differences across generations, which are the foundation of exceptional performance. They are also the underlying necessities for the successful implementation of any performance-oriented initiative, such as Quality, Safety, Performance and Talent Management, Customer Service, Diversity and Inclusion, and Creativity and Innovation.

This presentation is a combination of a short interactive conversation on the subject of engagement, followed by a two-hour workshop. If you have an interest or questions about this program, please contact us at:
